Lux Business School
Little wonder, when you consider how thorough, pragmatic, and focused LBS education is. LBS training is intensive, challenging, and very sales-oriented, with a strong focus on learning by doing. Curriculum usually alternates between the theoretical and the practical, with students first attending training and then testing their newly-acquainted knowledge in the field.
LBS programs vary slightly from market to market, since each local manager designs curriculum that is specifically tailored to fit the demands of his market. Curriculum is then sent to the Lux head office for review. Once approved, the LBS program receives certification from Lux headquarters.
LBS programs are typically organized into modules. The Business School student attends 3-5 modules, each lasting to 2-3 days at a time, over the course of approximately a 12-month period of time. Students progress through the program by completing each module of training, and then implementing the newly learned techniques in their daily sales routines. Students who succeed, advance to the next LBS training module.
There are generally three levels of Lux Business School training in each local company -- one school for Sales Partners, one for Team Leaders / Supervisors, and one for Branch Managers. At the Branch Manager level, schooling tends to be less sales-oriented and is more focused on developing leadership skills and teaching partners new techniques for managing and motivating personnel.
